Overview

Adthena allocates $125 per month as a parking subsidy for Adthenians based in Austin which can be managed through Divvy or our standard expense reimbursement process as detailed in our Travel & Expenses Guidelines. To request a Divvy Credit card with a $125 monthly allowance, please contact [email protected].

You can also choose to join Commuter Benefits (CBs) through the Justworks Benefits Centre. CBs enable you to use pre-tax income for monthly parking or transit costs, with a maximum contribution of $600 from your pre-tax salary each month.

🔍 How does it work?

  1. Access the 'Benefits Center' via your Justworks account (You > Benefits > Ancillary benefits > Commuter Benefits).
  2. Enroll in the commuter benefits scheme through Optum Financial and request a Justworks benefits card, a prepaid Visa debit card mailed to your address between the 24th and 1st of the month.
  3. Decide on the amount of pre-tax dollars you'd like to add to the card for monthly qualified transit or parking purchases, with a maximum of $300 for transit and $300 for parking. You’ll need to make this decision by the 6th of the month to use the funds available for the following month. Adjustments to your contributions can be made monthly if needed.
  4. The pre-tax dollars loaded onto your benefits card will be deducted from your first paycheck of the month.
  5. Use your prepaid benefits card to pay for parking or transit. You are not required to use Spothero or the Perry Brooks Garage for parking; it's advisable to shop around for the best day rates.
